Kodland a revolutionary online programming school for children is looking for a Branch Manager who will join our remote international team and work closely with CEO, HR, marketing and management team to build a successful branch within the UK market. Over the past year we have grown 15 times and our further goals are even much more ambitious. We make the learning process fun and engaging for children and grant security for their parents. We keep up growing with no limitations, but a freedom to express and implement innovative ideas that bring EdTech to a new level. About The Role We want to find a passionate and innovative Branch Manager to develop the UK market for whom efficiency and people aspect are in the balance for the best results. What You’ll Be Doing
Act as the branch’s leading representative which will involve representing and furthering the branch’s aims and policies in the local market; Drive strategic review of business plan for the UK branch; Work closely with CEO to grow the local business and monitor performance. Provide timely, complete and accurate reporting to the CEO as required; Lead and direct the tactical marketing support service required in the region, ensuring the marketing budget is effectively deployed; Manage local branch team responsible for regulatory affairs, communications, complaints and legal affairs; Manage team performance, agreeing on clear goals and targets, reviewing performance formally and informally, giving feedback, course correction, motivation and enabling recognition; Manage local relationships with governments and regulators as required; Quantify risks and define monthly management risk indicators to track.
What You’ll Need
Previous experience as a country manager, responsible for growing the local business or Proven experience in building out commercial organizations in Europe; Remote team leadership experience; Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Fluent in verbal and written English.
